How to get to Hostal El Ninot from Barcelona Airport

Hostal El Ninot is located at Carrer de Muntaner, 175, in the Eixample district of Barcelona. The hostal is in the first floor (labelled "Principal", button "PL" in the lift)

🚕 By taxi — the easiest option

​

Taxis are available outside both airport terminals. Simply tell the driver:

“Hostal El Ninot, Carrer de Muntaner 175, Barcelona.”

The journey normally takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic. The airport taxi fare is metered and includes the applicable airport supplement. This is the most convenient option, especially if you have luggage or arrive late at night.

🚇 By Metro — convenient and economical

​

Take Metro Line L9 Sud from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2.

  • Take the L9 Sud towards Barcelona.

  • Get off at Collblanc.

  • At Collblanc, change to Metro Line L5 (Blue Line) towards Vall d’Hebron.

  • Get off at Hospital Clínic.

  • From Hospital Clínic, Hostal El Ninot is only a few minutes’ walk away, at Carrer de Muntaner, 175.

The journey takes approximately 35–40 minutes, depending on connections.

🚌 By Aerobús + short walk — a good option

​

The Aerobús runs directly from Barcelona Airport to the city centre and is easy to use.

  • Take the Aerobús A1 from Terminal 1 or A2 from Terminal 2.

  • Get off at Plaça Universitat.

  • From there, Hostal El Ninot is approximately a 15-minute walk.

  • Walk towards Carrer de Muntaner and continue to number 175.

The journey takes approximately 35–45 minutes, depending on traffic and walking time. This is a good option if you prefer not to take a taxi and have manageable luggage.

🚆 By train — economical and comfortable

​

If you arrive at Terminal 2, you can take the R2 Nord train from Aeroport station.

  • Take the train towards Barcelona.

  • Get off at Passeig de Gràcia.

  • From Passeig de Gràcia, take a taxi for the short journey to the hostal, or continue on foot if you don’t mind walking.

The airport train runs approximately every 30 minutes. 

If you arrive at Terminal 1, a free airport shuttle bus connects T1 and T2.

⭐ Our recommendations

1. Taxi 🚕 — easiest and most convenient, especially with luggage or late night arrival.

2. Metro 🚇 — convenient, economical and takes you very close to the hostal.

3. Aerobús 🚌 — comfortable and easy, followed by a short walk from Plaça Universitat.

Please note that journey times may be considerably longer during rush hour.
